Greetings Everyone!
We’re finally open for the season! We attended 2 Fly Fishing related shows over the winter…the Cincinnati show and the Mid-West Fly Fishing Expo! Both events had many attendees, and as in the past, renewing old acquaintances and making new ones is really the crux of these type of events. We are already looking forward to next year! Ronda and I would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to all our patrons this past 2017 season.
Our business was up a nicely over our first year, and as you may already know, this is due in part to our service being second to none! With a full summer inventory from Patagonia, Columbia Sportswear Co., Mountain Khakis, and Dakota Grizzly you’re sure to find something to help you look and feel great all the while helping you to stay warm comfortable and dry while spending time in the out of doors! In addition, our shop has over 100,000 flies in inventory so you’re sure to find a pattern to help you to be successful on you’re next fly-fishing outing.
It’s hard to believe we are supposed to have rising trout in less than 2 weeks given the major winter storm we had the past 2 days…to visualize and conceptualize going fishing and catching trout in a mere 2 weeks on a dry is almost unfathomable. It was by far the biggest snow event we had all winter, and it’s April 15th! All schools in Northern Michigan are closed tomorrow for a “Snow Day”! May warmer, brighter days be forthcoming!
