We are in full swing with terrestrials now….hoppers, bees, ants, etc…
Trico’s are also going strong in the morning and small olive’s with large spinner drops of them in the evening (last hour before dark).
On a recent trip (somewhere in North America) I was able to take our son Trevor and a friend (to unknown parts) to chase some nice brook trout! Yes, they’re that big!
P.S., the boys are only 13-14 years old and were catching brook trout of a lifetime! After catching many in the 17-19 inch range, when they caught a small one (14-16 incher) they’d comment on how it was a “small one”. They have a lot to learn…..
